The Virtues Of Hajj and Umrah
Assalamualaikum and hello my fellow viewers!
Today, i would love to share one of my Usrah Class (CCUB 1062 SEC 217) task entitled "Virtues Of Hajj And Umrah" 💟💟💟
But before that, i will explain briefly about this topic.........
As we learned when in primary school to secondary school, performing Hajj is one of the pillars of the pillars of Islam. It is the last pillar of Islam where every able Muslim should perform Hajj in Mecca. Hajj in terms of language is to go or visit a place. While in terms of terminology, it means visiting the Masjid Al-Haram (Kaaba) at certain times in the month of Hajj, namely Dzulhijjah and performing the obligatory things for Hajj.
Allah says,
“Thus Hajj-Pilgrimage to the (Sacred) House (in Makkah) is owed to God, as an obligation upon all people who are able to attain a way to it. And as to those who disbelieve (this, know), then, (that) God is, indeed, self-sufficient, without (any need for any of His creation in) all the worlds.” (Quran 3:97)
Meanwhile, Umrah in terms of language is a pilgrimage. In terms of syara ', it means visiting the Masjid Al-Haram at any time to perform certain acts of worship with certain conditions. Umrah can be performed throughout the year, but Hajj is performed only at a specific time, between the 8th and the 13th of Dzulhijjah, the last month in the Islamic lunar calendar.
